Sexual assault charges  against a 15 year old were discontinued after Edward Hayes LLP partner, Maria Monan, made comprehensive representations to the police and Crown Prosecution Service regarding charging protocols.  This is a grey area in terms of the strict letter of the law. Our schoolboy client faced total ruin with registration on the sex offenders’ list and a criminal record for a school bike shed type of incident which was blown out of all proportion.

Defendant charged with death by careless driving acquitted at Lewes Crown Court following hugely significant work by the defence to prove other factors were in fact to blame for the fatality which occurred en route to the Goodwood Revival in Sussex last year. The money goes direct to the Ward which looks after terminally ill children.
