Grandmother falsely accused of ‘baby-shaking’

The Family Law Team represented the Grandmother of a young child who had been incredibly ill after sustaining a head injury – she had been included  in the pool of potential perpetrators when Social Services were accused her of non-accidental injury ie baby-shaking.  We were able to prove that she was not caring for the child at the time the injury took place.  The child and his sibling spent a significant amount of time in foster care before being returned to the family following the fact finding hearing.
