Licensing

There are many reasons why licensing may apply to you and your business. For example, if you need to sell or supply alcohol, late night hot food and drink or provide public entertainment, you will need to apply for a premises licence to be granted under the Licensing Act 2003.

All fees are guidance only and may be adjusted on the complexity of the application.

Applications
  • Temporary events notices £50 + VAT
  • Personal licence applications £150 + VAT
  • Minor variation applications £500 + VAT
  • New applications / full variation applications + VAT
  • Representation Local authority / Magistrates’ Courts hearings £1,500 + VAT per day – alcohol and taxi / private hire
  • Initial assessment and advice £500 + VAT for up to 2 hours and £250 + VAT per hour thereafter
