Deborah is an experienced Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with 20 years experience within the legal sector working predominantly in complex litigation case work. Deborah has assisted in cases of high level crime including murder, fraud, serious sexual offences and large scale drug offences. Deborah also assists in complex family and children litigation, such as cases involving baby shaking, non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and neglect.
- Deborah has assisted various Partners with high profile cases including representing senior executives involved in the international LIBOR investigation.
- Deborah assisted a Partner in a case where we represented four children in care proceedings brought by the Local Authority. These were complex proceedings involving an allegation that the Father had repeatedly raped his eldest daughter along with further allegations of physical and emotional abuse. The family court found that the allegations made against the father were made out, however he was subsequently acquitted of the same allegations in a criminal trial and the matter is ongoing.
