Pre-Trial

These allegations are notoriously complex and always sensitive. If you are under investigation it is imperative that you seek specialist representation at the outset. The actions you take at the initial stages of any such matter are crucial to your whole future.

We can advise the best way to protect your interests and although it may not always be possible to avoid charges, the groundwork that is laid at the outset and the subsequent initial case preparation are vital.

Basic legal aid lawyers are under enormous pressure and consequently can rarely afford the time to prioritise and effectively re-investigate these complex cases.

Pro-active measures are often crucial.

We prefer to start from 'scratch' and work in conjunction with our own experienced investigators to actively defend and protect our client's interest. We only instruct case proven experts, senior barristers, higher court advocates and Queen's Counsel to protect and promote your interest.

This is generally not possible within the constraints of the Legal Aid scheme.

Appeals

It may not be too late for you. We have represented numerous individuals in successful appeals. These have included the quashing of convictions for murder, rape, indecent assault and internet crime.

Our approach is professional and thorough.

We only accept private instructions to ensure that we are able to provide truly first class representation. Sadly many people are initially represented by non specialists and all avenues are not properly investigated. Frequently this is within the confines of Legal Aid.
